The frames are powder coated aluminum so they will never rust.  The finish is available in dark brown. Do you have an uneven patio surface like flagstone?  Adjustable feet on the bottoms of the legs will let you adjust for that.  The bar stool swivels so once the feet are adjusted to the patio surface, you don't have to move them again - you can just swivel in and out from the bar.
